WHAT WE WORK WITH
Conditions our Naperville psychologists and therapists treat.

Anxiety
Recurring worry, racing thoughts, panic, and a body that won’t fully settle.

Persistent low mood, exhaustion that sleep doesn’t fix, the fog you can’t think through.
Trauma & PTSD
When past events keep shaping the present — treated with CPT and trauma-focused CBT.
Grief & Bereavement

Planning, working memory, and follow-through — practical coaching for adults and teens.
Multicultural
Culturally responsive therapy, including Korean American identity work with Dr. Kang.

When the everyday becomes too much. Practical tools, real regulation, space to slow down.
Postpartum
Pregnancy, postpartum mood and anxiety, and the identity shift of becoming a parent.
OCD
Intrusive thoughts and compulsions — treated with ERP, the gold-standard OCD protocol.

OUR APPROACH
Evidence-based therapy, matched to what you’re working on
ACT and CBT for adult therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is a core modality across our whole team — values-based work for adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, and the gap between the life you want and the life you’re living. CBT runs alongside it across the team for the thought-behavior loops that keep symptoms cycling.
ERP for OCD — and an evidence-based EMDR alternative for trauma
Exposure and Response Prevention is the gold-standard treatment for OCD — distinct from generic talk therapy. For trauma, we offer an evidence-based EMDR alternative: Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and trauma-focused CBT — structured, strongly evidenced approaches to PTSD. We establish safety and stabilization before processing — we don’t rush.
Gottman Method for couples
Our couples-therapy stack: the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy — the Sound Relationship House, repair attempts, the four horsemen. When we’re not the right fit, we say so and refer to a Naperville colleague who is. Honesty about fit is part of the work.

We gather history, clarify goals, and define what progress looks like for you specifically. By the end we have a working plan — which modality, what cadence, and roughly how long.
Therapy or testing begins
In-person on N Mill Street or by telehealth across Illinois. Most adult therapy runs 6 to 9 months; testing engagements complete in about one month with a written report — faster than the field average. If the clinician fit isn’t right, we adjust — no awkwardness.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Common questions before you book.
Do you take insurance?
We are in-network with BCBS PPO, Aetna PPO, United Healthcare PPO, and Medicare — we bill those plans directly, and you pay only your copay or coinsurance. For other plans we bill your out-of-network benefits on your behalf — you don’t submit superbills yourself. A limited, need-based sliding scale is available. We help you verify benefits before your first session.
Do you offer telehealth outside Illinois?
Yes — through Dr. Joe Gryzbek, via the PSYPACT interjurisdictional compact. Dr. Gryzbek can see patients located in 40+ PSYPACT participating states. Our other clinicians are licensed in Illinois only and see Illinois residents in person or by telehealth.
How long does therapy take?
Most adult therapy runs 6 to 9 months, with meaningful change often earlier. OCD work with ERP and trauma work with CPT and Prolonged Exposure follow structured, evidence-based protocols. We assess pace together at every step and never drag work out artificially.
Do you prescribe medication?
No. We are a talk-therapy and assessment practice. When medication is part of someone’s plan, we coordinate with their outside psychiatric prescriber. Our office is on N Mill Street in Downtown Naperville, with secure telehealth across Illinois.
The first step is the hardest. We’ll meet you there.
